Pingu Schools are part of the Linguaphone Education group, in collaboration with the beloved children’s television show Pingu, and have been delivered exciting, innovative English curriculums to millions of children and young people over the past few years.

  • Native English speaker

  • Bachelors degree or higher

  • TEFL or TESOL certificate desirable

  • Excellent communication skills, reliable and friendly

  • Love of teaching and children

  • Able to pass visa checks (including no criminal background check)


  • Minimum one-year contract

  • Providing classroom instruction to students aged 4 to 14 years old

  • Providing high quality, professional teaching at all times

  • Helping students reach the level of English specified in the learning objectives

  • Interest in giving advice on individual students’ progress

  • Weekday working hours: 2.30 to 8.30, weekend working hours: 9.30 to 5.30 (2 days off a week)




  • Salary £24,500 - £35,000 per year

  • 12 days paid holiday and 5 days annual leave

  • £220 monthly housing allowance

  • Flight ticket reimbursement up to £1000
